Advantages of comparing with others

Advantages of comparing with others:

Yes , comparing with others is an advantage. It’s a human nature to compare with others.From our childhood onwards comparing with others has become our tendency.Our father and mother were inseparable in flourish this nature.

In our childhood our parents compared with our friends how ‘good’ and decent they are.
So , unconsciously we have developed negative in comparing with others.All will say comparing is not good.Can we  turn this with positive outlook.

Comparison is two types.Downward comparison and upward comparison.
Now let’s see how ‘advantage’ in comparing with others:
Downward comparison and advantages:
Comparing with others who are less skilled or less fortune than you.
1) It helps you to have ‘gratitude’ in your life. (Be thankful to God what he has given to you)
2) You will get inner peace.  (Compare with those who didn’t have peace even though they are millionaires)
3) Health is wealth.Compare with those who frequently hospitalized. Health is equivalent to wealth.
4) You are having freedom. (Compare with those who didn’t have this)
5) You are having family attachment.Compare with those poor orphans.
6) Un necessary competence won’t be there.
7) You won’t get insecurity feeling.
8) You will learn how to love yourself.
9) To get self-esteem.
10) To feel better.


And many more that you can compare to get gratitude.

Upward comparison and advantages:

We compare with others who we feel better than us.

When we are observing ‘the better’ one’s means we are looking for positive in our own lives.

1) It helps to focus on our abilities to improve in reaching goals.
2) It will be great motivation factor .
3) Keep it as a benchmark to achieve your wants.
4) To convert your wish into high intensive desire.
5) To raise your hope.
6) To increase your confidence level.
7) To believe in yourself.
8) To recognise where you are lacking and to know ways to improve those.
9) To get inspiration.
10) To achieve more targets in our life.
11) To get disciplined life.
12) To realise your own life purpose.

All in all compare with others not to get disappointment or not to get envy.But to improve your own not enough of something.Feel happy what you have.

Ways to have blessed life for sensitive people.

Among all living being human life is great.Intellectuality makes human different from other creatures.In human life their personality traits and characteristics defined what a person is.We as humans not only living with intellectually but having lots of emotions and feelings.

A sensitive person is tender and soft inside of their heart.They have a tendency to easily offended or upset by something.They will be easily depressed and think they have no place in this materialistic world.Constantly wants love and care from someone.

They are kind and empathetic persons.They have good intuition , they can sense and listen your untold words.They are good listeners and can give best advice to others.Having empathetic nature they can feel the pain of others and can give best healing energy.They are  creative thinkers and have artistic nature.Having their own sorrows and unresolved issues they support others emotional feelings.

They like and love all but the moment they get inattention or devalue or unfaithfulness they walk away from those persons.

Being sensitive and to have blesse life:
1) You have imaginative skill notice it and make use of it.
2) Be with kind , supportive and friendly people.
3) Let it go your past emotional traumas and frustrations.
4) Avoid self criticism.
5) Don’t expect validations from others .You are kind and smart acknowledge it.
6) Study creative arts and holistic counselling and practice it.
7) Open yourself to receive love and affection.
8) Spend your time with pets and kiddies.
9) Read self help books and spiritual books.Take the courses related to this.
10) Plant trees and spend in your garden.Have an emotional attachment with  plants.
11) Love yourself.Nurture yourself and greatful for what you have.
12) Do yoga (not the one with physical)
13) Do pranayama (breathing exercise )
14) Connect with like-minded people.
15) Be self employed (make use of your gifted qualities)
16) Take counselling or Life coaching as your career.
17) You will do best in healing or alternative medicine career.
18) Select your life partner .They should be kind and supportive to you. (‘Select’ ..is this in our control or it should happen naturally.Let me know your opinion)

How to get good karma in your life:

Our desire becomes the action.Every action there will be reaction or result.Can we  anticipate result , we ought not. AS per Bhagawad gita ‘You have right only doing your work not for its results ‘.
While reaching our goals repeated efforts makes us perfect. We have control over our thoughts not in results. As there is a saying ‘Budhi karmanusarini’ it reads actions of a person are governered by his conscience (viveka) or discriminating power. As per the quote even our actions are control by our previous ‘karma’.But the question is what to do to have good thought or an action.
To get positive vibes:
1) Be empathetic (Sense and feel the pain of others and give empathy to them).
2) Be faithful (without self cheating).
3) Be kind to people and help them in any small way you can.
4) Love your family and friends.
5) Share your ‘knowledge’ to all.
6) Give your wisdom to the ‘qualified’.
7) Offer your time and resources to charities.
8) See positive in everything .
9) Go on pilgrimages.
10) Read spiritual books (Sastras).
11) Offer your money for good cause.
12) Sponsor your resources to holy places.
13) Pray for others .
14) Be with the people who are kind and virtuous(Satsanga).
My dear reader , these are the few but find and choose your own way to serve others.It will erases your negative and brings good ‘karma’.

Depression - what we can do

Depression or Deep Sadness
Life is like a heaven when we feel happiness in everything. It’s all about how we feel and ‘see’ the things.
Depression is the medical terminology related to psychological illness.For the sufferer it’s the most pathetic emotional situation.
Reasons could be many.But common cause is ‘living in the past’ or not relieved or unresolved emotional trauma.
If we keep on remembering ‘those’ bitter experience our present happiness will disappear.If we are not relieving those frustrations from our heart it will accumulate. It will release in a deferent form.That leads us un-natural behaviour.A chemical imballance will occur in our brain.
What we can do to cope up with  this :
1) Forget and Forgive.
2) Be with your near and dear ones.Speak with them about your ‘issue’.They give best support and help.
3) Avoid the people and situations causing you feel bad.
4) Write on paper your feelings and thoughts.
5) Do meditation.
6) Visit new places and stay there for a few days.
7) Make a new hobby.
8) Learn new skill or art.
9) Learn new language.
10) Listen  to music (Avoid sad type..)
11) Attend family meetings and local gatherings.
12) Engage in social service activities.
13) Spend in beautiful and peaceful places (Gardens , riversides).
14) Live for tomorrow’s great possibility.
15) Hope is the best medicine.
16) Have healthy food.
17) Have 8 hrs of sleep.
18) Consult psychiatrist.

 Holistic decision making:
Change is the continuous process in life .At each stage of our life we need to take decisions. Results will depend upon how wisely we take decisions.
In Sanskrit there is saying ‘Neera-Ksheera-Viveka’
Good things are precious and happen rarely.They available mixed with some impurities like lotus in the mud.The wise ones separate good and bad things.They accept  only the good things.Like a ‘Swan’ separating milk from water.
Set clear , consistent and accountable decisions.
Be like a Swan while taking decisions.
